Majid Majidi shares his film-making experience at Hainan Island International Film Festival

On Dec. 11th, the 3rd Masterclass of the Hainan Island International Film Festival was held in Sanya. Famed Iranian director Majid Majidi attended to deliver a speech on his film-making experience.
One of his works, “Children of Heaven”, which was nominated for the 1998 Best Foreign Language Film Oscar, gave fans a glimpse of the delicate and humanistic narration of Iranian films. This year, Majid Majidi brought his new work "Sun Children" to Sanya and watched the movie together with fans.
The new movie presents a story about child labour. Majidi hopes to direct attention to the children forced to work, and help them back to school again.
